Theft of Pedal Cycle - Outside LIDL Blagdon Road, New Malden

Dear Resident,

The following Theft of pedal cycle occurred on Sunday 24th August 2025 between 14:20 hours - 14:45 hours whereby victim secured their bike with a padlock, and they returned after shopping at LIDL Blagdon Road, New Malden. Victim returned to find their bike stolen and padlock left behind by unknown suspect/s.

We recommend securing your pedal cycles with two DLOCKS to make it harder for thieves and not making easy by securing with a cheap cable padlock which some owners mentioned using.

FREE bike security registering marking in your local area. Please message myself or the team to book us to attend your home address or opposite New Malden BR Station, The Cut or Beeline entrance on Coombe Road or outside LIDL on Blagdon Road, New Malden.

Why security registering marking your bike ? Bike security register marking provides a visible deterrent to thieves by marking bikes with a unique code that is registered on a national database, making them easier for police and retailers to trace if stolen and increasing the chances of recovery and reunification with the owner. It also simplifies police investigations, as officers can quickly identify the bike's owner from the database.

Kind Regards,
