Two men have been arrested over suspected drug dealing in Upton-upon-Severn after officers attended an address in the town yesterday (Thursday 28 August). Officers received a report from a member of the public stating they had witnessed a suspected drug deal in the New Street area. Worcester Proactive CID, supported by Upton Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) and our Operational Patrol Unit (OPU) then attended an address near the location around 2pm. Police found a large quantity of class A drugs suspected to be crack cocaine and heroin, including a bag full of wraps that had been thrown out of a room above the address on to the ground below. Two 18-year-old men were arrested at the scene on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs. They have been released on police bail under investigation and enquiries are ongoing.
