Appeal after caravan burglary

We are continuing our inquiries and appealing for information after a caravan was targeted by burglars in the Lichfield area last month.

We were called at 4.10pm on Tuesday 29 July to Hungry Lane in Weeford following reports of a break-in.

The caravan owner had returned home to discover offenders had broken into her property and carried out an untidy search.

An iPad pro, a wildlife camera, around £500 in cash and a credit card were stolen.

We have conducted inquiries locally and believe two men were involved in the break-in.

One of the suspects is described as a bald white man, wearing blue jeans and a black jacket over a black top, with white lettering in the centre. He was also wearing a grey or khaki-coloured cross-body bag.

The other man is described as white, wearing a flat-cap-type hat, wearing black shorts and a grey denim jacket over a dark-coloured hooded sweatshirt.

They both made off from the scene in a white van.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact us on 101 quoting incident number 530 of 29 July.

To report anonymously, contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
