Dear Residents, We want to thank you for your continued support and engagement as we work together to keep Foleshill safe. Over recent months, we’ve been actively addressing our local policing priorities, which have been identified through feedback from local residents. Our Current Priorities Our first priority is tackling theft at Gallagher Retail Park. We’ve been conducting regular patrols and working in close partnership with site security. This joint effort has already led to the arrest of a prolific offender, and we will continue to maintain a strong presence in the area. Our second priority is addressing anti-social behaviour in and around Edgwick Park. We are carrying out high-visibility patrols to deter nuisance behaviour and reassure park users. Your feedback has been vital in shaping our response.
The third priority is tackling parking problems and speeding across Foleshill. We are working with partner agencies to address these concerns and have a multi-agency operation planned for the near future to target hotspots and improve road safety. Community Engagement & Crime Prevention officers completed an off road bike operation this week across the north of the city, this was targeting off road bike across the city and vehicle ASB. This resulted in numerous off road bikes being seized. The end of the week saw a vehicle being stopped by officers resulting in a large class A drug seizure and an arrest. Ongoing enquiries will be made As part of our local policing plan, we are running crime prevention events and offering home security advice to help residents protect themselves and their property.
