On September 1st, our Newsletter will be posted on here and via Derbyshire Alert. This will have all of the dates for September for our engagements. - We know some of the residents on Church Drive have asked for advanced warning of our next Street Meet to be held in the car park of the Holy Trinity Church - The next one will be on September 18th at 5pm. Keep an eye on our Newsletter if you do wish to speak to us face to face about any issues in your area. Do you know what SNT do?
👉🏼 We are made up of PC's, PCSO's, a Police Sergeant and a Neighbourhood Investigation Officer.
👉🏼 We maintain a reassuring presence by patrolling all of our areas. Doing this not only deters anti-social behaviour but also keeps us accessible and approachable to residents.
👉🏼 We listen to what matters to local residents - hence our engagements like Street Meets and Community Catch Ups.
👉🏼 We tackle anti-social behaviour and local crime.
👉🏼 We work together with partner agencies to tackle local issues.
👉🏼 We monitor local crime statistics and look at problem solving strategies and preventing harm.
👉🏼 We get involved in initiatives that enable community safety and education - This is why we go into schools and give educational talks.
❗If you do ever have to make a 999 call, our response officers will most likely attend these incidents but from time to time, we do have to help. At Shirebrook SNT, we cover the following areas:
