Appeal for witnesses to fail-to-stop collision – Slough

Hello Resident,

We are appealing for witnesses to a fail to stop road traffic collision in Slough last night.

At around 7.15pm, a black Volkswagen Passat was involved in a collision with an 11-year-old boy on the A355 Farnham Road at the junction with Buckingham Avenue, while failing to stop for officers. The driver and passenger of the VW did not stop at the scene.

The victim sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital in a stable condition.

The VW was later discovered abandoned and has been recovered.

We are investigating this incident, and the circumstances surrounding it, as a priority. We have made a mandatory referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct due to the police pursuit beforehand.

We would ask people to please avoid participating in any speculation surrounding the circumstances of this incident, especially on social media, out of respect to the family at this difficult time.

Anyone with information or dashcam footage should make a report online or by calling 101, quoting reference 43250439163.

Kind regards,
