Most probably in the daytime on Thursday 14 August at The West Park Academy, Vernon Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, a key safe in the staff office was broken into and the key to another safe removed and used to open that safe. This contained cash which was stolen. 

At 5.12am on Sunday 24 August in Derby Road, Annesley Woodhouse, the Derby Road garage was broken into by two males, they ripped the hard drives from the CCTV before stealing cigarettes and vapes from a room at the back. The white males, wearing balaclavas, drove off in a grey car north bound on Derby Road, towards Kirkby.

Between 1.00am and 2.00am on Sunday 24 August in Elmtree Avenue, Selston, a shed was broken into and a blue Surron Electric bike stolen by two males, with a third acting as a lookout. One was on foot and two arrived on a motorbike. Two wore helmets and black tracksuits, the third was in a balaclava and a dark coloured tracksuit.

Theft of motor vehicle

At 2.30am on Friday 22 August in Sherwood Way, Selston, a silver/grey Nissan Navara was stolen by two males, in hooded jackets, who pulled up further down the road in a car.

Between 6.00pm on Friday 22 and 12.15am on Saturday 23 August in Alfreton Road, Jubilee, Selston, a black Nissan Navara, parked on a driveway, was stolen. The car has been located and recovered.

Violence against the person.

At 8.17pm on Friday 22 August in Stoney Lane, Selston, two cars clipped wing mirrors and the male driver of one of the cars got out and dragged the female driver from her red Hyundai car calling her names and kicking and denting her car. He then got back in his large light coloured car, which may have been a Mercedes, and drove off. He was described as white, slim build, with gingery blonde hair shaved around the sides. He had a white female passenger wearing a grey tracksuit with her hair in a bun.

Criminal Damage

Possibly at 3.00am on Sunday 24 August in Butterfly Meadows, Millers Way, Kirkby in Ashfield, three tyres on a car were slashed.

At 10.20pm on Monday 25 August in Berry Avenue, Kirkby in Ashfield, the back window of a white car, parked on a driveway, was smashed using a hammer by two males wearing hoodies and shorts. They made off up Berry Avenue and onto Elder Street.

At around 8.30pm on Friday 22 August in Low Moor Road. Kirkby in Ashfield, a report of groups of children kicking on the door and banging on the window of a house as they pass. This has been going on for the past six months, happening at least once a day. The owner is not sure if it is always the same group.

Acre Cafe, Kingsway Park, Kingsway, Kirkby in Ashfield, a report of white female, late 30’s, short grey hair, wearing a burgundy coloured top, swinging her arms about and being verbally abusive to children and passers by. She had a Jack Russell dog, off the lead, with her.
