Joint Partnership

Today officers have worked with Trafford Council in providing road safety advice and enforcement in relation to waste licenses and taxi drivers licences as part of our safer summer operations. 

We were also providing advice and checking the road worthiness of the vehicles being stopped. 

We stopped over 70 vehicles in our time on Shaftsbury Avenue where numerous vehicles were issued with notices. With one having been found with cannabis within his vehicle. 

We will continue to work jointly with the council on these operations to make our roads safer.
