Moretonhampstead Carnival 2025

Tonight is the Moretonhampsetad 100th Carnival procession which starts at 6:30pm.

Please remember that  the roads through Moretonhampstead will be closed to allow the procession to safely navigate the route, and that no traffic will be allowed through the town until the closure is lifted by the organisers. Some of the road closures will remain in force until the carnival itself is completed The road closures are there for everyone’s safety and will be signed and manned by Carnival Marshalls.

Please arrive in plenty of time to find parking and get your position to watch the procession and enjoy the festivities of the evening.

Please be patient if you are stopped at a road closure and do not give the Marshalls who are all volunteers a hard time.
