Child Centred Policing Team, Tunbridge Wells

The Child Centred Policing Team of Tunbridge Wells, are looking forward to working alongside our local secondary and primary schools in the new school year 2025-2026. As a team we have close liaison with each secondary school, supporting their safeguarding teams and working with young people around their behaviour in school and also deterring them from entering the criminal justice system.

Alongside this we provide workshops, assemblies and targeted support around a range of policing topics, such as, anti-social behaviour, violence against women and girls, knife and violent crime, exploitation, county lines and lots more!

We also work in many of the primary schools, offering talks about transition to secondary school, criminal age of responsibility and a programme called, Mini Cadets, were we work with children aged 8-11 for 9 weeks, around different aspects of policing and staying safe.

However, this is just part of our role, in Tunbridge Wells. We also are happy to visit local youth groups, scout and guiding groups, community groups that work with young people. If you would like us to visit, please get in touch through, My Community Voice or email csu.tunbridge.wells@kent.police.uk we look forward to hearing from you.
