Community Engagement 4th September 1030am-1230pm |
||
Dear Resident, My name is Neil Dowler and I’m one of the local Police Community Support officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team responsible for Shephall and Bandley Hill As a team, we’re committed to understanding the issues that affect everyone in our community. We recognise that larger areas in Stevenage often receive more attention, and we want to ensure that your voice is heard too. We will be outside the Checkers Afro-Caribbean Store at The Hyde Shops on Thursday 4th September 2025 at 1030am for 2 hours to provide Crime Prevention advice and listen to concerns you may have
If your unable to attend we would like to invite you to complete the Policing Priority Survey attached to this message You might be wondering, “What’s the point in completing the survey – nothing ever changes?” But your feedback genuinely helps us shape our priorities and respond more effectively to local concerns. Our Policing Priority Survey is open to everyone, and right now, I’m focusing on your area to identify the problems that matter most to you as part of our review and setting of the Policing Priorities in the first week of September. The survey also gives you the chance to tell us what you appreciate about the area, share your views on police visibility, your trust in us to address local problems, and other topics that help us serve you better. You can provide as much information as you wish, and I want to reassure you that we are actively reviewing all responses. I’ll follow up with you in the next two weeks to share the results. In the meantime, you can view a summary of local issues via the word cloud on your area’s page: https://hertsconnected.co.uk/Content/AllLocalAreas
