Drug related arrests in Kennington

Good morning Resident,

Busy day for the team yesterday which involved a real team effort.

A proactive stop at Eureka Park, found the driver of this car to be driving with no licence and no insurance, and a roadside drug wipe indicated he was driving under the influence of cannabis.  This landed him a further arrest for drug driving.

The team came to help search the car and other occupant, finding a quantity of cannabis, large amount of cash and weapons onboard.  With suspicions of drug supply, both were arrested for multiple offences and taken to custody.

Obviously the vehicle was seized and is now at the recovery yard.

The team searched addresses linked to arrested persons and found further drugs and multiple samurai swords which are prohibited so were removed.

The teams efforts in the community will continue today to get further results which we hope you welcome hearing about.
