Drug misuse /ASB

Following numerous reports of drug misuse in St Peter's Square, Stockport Town Centre, neighbourhood officers have increased foot patrol frequency in the surrounding areas. As a result of this, officers have identified multiple offenders and seized quantities of cannabis, as well as issuing cannabis warnings, thus reducing the level of ASB/ drug related issues in the area. 

As a part of Safe4summer, officers will continue to patrol the Town Centre and address any drug related ASB issues. 

If you see our officers, please feel free to speak to them regarding any concerns or to report any incidents in the area. Our neighbourhood team makes every effort to ensure the Town Centre remains a safe and enjoyable place for everyone.
