Local Priorities Road Safety Issues Message

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Road Safety Issues, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

🚓 Speed Survey Results Are In! 🚓

Yesterday, the Cleobury and Highley Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out speed checks across several local villages to help keep our roads safe. Here's what they found:

📍 Button Oak (30mph limit)
➡️ 41 vehicles checked
➡️ Average speed: 26.3mph

📍 Highley (30mph limit)
➡️ 40 vehicles checked
➡️ Average speed: 25.8mph
✅ Only one vehicle exceeded the limit

📍 Chelmarsh (40mph limit)
➡️ 45 vehicles checked
➡️ Average speed: 31.6mph

📍 Eardington (30mph limit)
➡️ Average speed: 26.1mph
✅ One vehicle went over the limit

📍 Knowlesands (40mph limit)
➡️ Average speed: 28.5mph

📍 Stottesdon (30mph limit)
➡️ Average speed: 23.3mph

👍 Overall, the results show that most drivers are respecting speed limits and helping to keep our roads safe. Thank you to everyone for driving responsibly—and to the Safer Neighbourhood Team for their continued efforts!
