York city centre’s local neighbourhood policing team are inviting you to a community event which is taking place next Wednesday. 

The event, which is free to attend will be held on the South Piazza outside York Minster between 10am – 3pm. 

On the day, various departments from across North Yorkshire Police will work alongside different partners to showcase how they are supporting cycle crime prevention within the City of York as well as road safety. Attending the event there will be:

- The York and North Yorkshire Road Safety Partnership 
- York Minster Police 
- North Yorkshire Police Recruitment
- The Yorkshire Air Ambulance 
- North Yorkshire Police Dog section
- York Cycle Campaign
- York Bid and Rangers
- British Transport Police
- York Rescue Boat, and more!

The event is organised by the new Inspector for York city centre, Jen Stockwell. Visitors will be able to speak with Jen about any concerns you have, or indeed what you’re happy with!
