Local Priorities Road Safety Issues Message

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Road Safety Issues, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

Your local neighbourhood team have spent the morning in the locality of Whitworth conducting speed checks at various sites.
Throughout the operation, a number of drivers had to be spoken to regarding their speed and manner of driving, with one driver being reported for driving at speeds of 44 mph in a 30 zone !
This speed will not be tolerated, and we will be taking action against those disobeying the speed limits !
These operations continue to form part of our initiative to support road safety and follow concerns raised by you via Lancashire Talking!

If you ever experience this issue or have information regarding an incident, please report it using our online reporting tools at https://www.lancashire.police.uk, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online webpage Home - Lancashire Constabulary - Report Online or call the non-emergency number 101.

Alternatively, you can stay 100 per cent anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at crimestoppers-uk.org.
