Theft of Motorcycle - Whitehouse Avenue - Borehamwood

On 21/08/2025 @ 02:30 offender(s) have committed theft of a motorcycle on Whitehouse Avenue, Borehamwood

 

Between material times an offender/s have approached the vehicle from an unknown direction , removed locks from the vehicle and made off in an unknown direction, owner still has both sets of keys. The motorcycle a Red Yamaha MT bearing index YC14UGB.

Tips to prevent Motorcycle crime:

  • Use a combination of a fitted alarm and immobiliser.
  • Secure your bike to a ground post with a good quality chain and closed shackle padlock.
  • Consider fitting a ‘Data tag’ which will uniquely identify your motorcycle.
  • If you cannot park in a garage, use a cover to make the Motorcycle less visible. 
  • Don't leave keys in obvious places such as key racks or near open windows/letterboxes to prevent thieves fishing them out.
  •
