Theft of Motorcycle - Nicoll Way - Borehamwood

Dear Resident

On 24/08/2025 01:00 to 24/08/2025 06:30 theft of a motorcycle has occurred on Nicoll Way, Borehamwood

The vehicle is a Grey Yamaha GDP motorcycle LF22YVL. Has been taken from victims driveway by offender(s) unknown. They have made off in an unknown direction. Nicoll Way is at the junction with Stangate Crescent, Ripon Way and Howard Drive.

Tips to prevent Motorcycle crime:

Use a combination of a fitted alarm and immobiliser.

Secure your bike to a ground post with a good quality chain and closed shackle padlock.

Consider fitting a ‘Datatag’ which will uniquely identify your motorcycle.

If you cannot park in a garage, use a cover to make the Motorcycle less visible.

Don't leave keys in obvious places such as key racks or near open windows/letterboxes to prevent thieves fishing them out.
