Continuing efforts to tackle catapult use

Good afternoon,

We are continuing our efforts to identify, catch and deal with youths in the community surrounding the use of catapults. We are seeing lots of posts on social media but not as many reports made to us. Please continue to report anyone carrying or using catapults especially if they are being used to cause damage or shoot wildlife. Both of which are crimes.

We encourage anyone to photograph or video any potential suspects as we are in the process of identifying and case building against those who are ignoring our advise and direction, many of which have already been spoken to by police. We have issued several acceptable behaviour agreements so far which often deter any future offending, but some continue regardless. You can report anonymously if needed, we still want your evidence even if you don't wish to give evidence yourself. 

Please spread the word, we will deal with the matter even if it's not deemed an emergency at the time. There is lots we can do but we need you're help to make your communities safer and bring suspects to justice.
