Thefts on Crooks Lane, Studley.

This week we have had three thefts on Crooks Lane, Studley. These appear to be one person entering gardens and forcing entry into sheds, to steal tools from within. In one case, property was taken from an insecure garage. Please remain vigilant and be mindful to keep buildings secure when possible. When leaving the home, be mindful to close windows which could be used to gain entry into your home. 

I also wanted to reassure residents over several deployments of police to Bell Lane in Studley over the weekend. These were all in relation to one member of of the community who is considered vulnerable. Police are working with partner agencies to try and reduce this demand and ensure all vulnerable persons get the help they need. This issue is not one which should impact the wider community around them.

Furthermore, a stolen vehicle was recovered from the High Street by our friends in firearms and a local shoplifter was arrested for an offence at the Co Op this week. Having been in custody and interviewed, they will be getting a court date in the post.
