Traffic Operation - Golcar

OP Trimburg Golcar – Supported by local ward councillors

 

Officers attended the Golcar area on Operation Trimburg that targets the fatal 5 offences and anti-social driving. Intelligence is fed into the operation by the Kirklees ward councillors from members of the community.

 

The fatal 5 offences are…

 

  • Failing to wear a seatbelt
  • Speeding
  • Driving whilst under the influence of drink or drugs
  • Driving whilst using a mobile phone
  • Driving without due care an attention and/or dangerous driving
