Traffic Operation - Linthwaite

OP Trimburg Linthwaite – Supported by local ward councillors

 

Officers attended the Linthwaite area on Operation Trimburg that targets the fatal 5 offences and anti-social driving. Intelligence is fed into the operation by the Kirklees ward councillors from members of the community.

 

The fatal 5 offences are…

 

  • Failing to wear a seatbelt
  • Speeding
  • Driving whilst under the influence of drink or drugs
  • Driving whilst using a mobile phone
  • Driving without due care an attention and/or dangerous driving

    X1 – Incorrect Registered Vehicle (Ardron School)

    X2 – No Mobile Phone (Manchester Road)

    X3 – Registration not conforming to regulations (Broad Oak School)

    X1 – Defective Tyre (Ardron School)

    X2 – Glass not as prescribed (Manchester Road)
