Traffic Operation - Mirfield

OP Trimburg Mirfield – Supported by local ward councillors & Mirfield Town Council

 

Officers attended the Mirfield area on Operation Trimburg that targets fatal 5 offences and anti-social driving. Intelligence is fed into the operation by the Kirklees ward councillors from members of the community.

 

The fatal 5 offences are…

 

  • Failing to wear a seatbelt
  • Speeding
  • Driving whilst under the influence of drink or drugs
  • Driving whilst using a mobile phone
  • Driving without due care an attention and/or dangerous driving
  •  

    Following information passed by the local constituents we have targeted the following areas…

    Sunnybank Road, Mirfield

    Church Lane, Mirfield

    Knowl Road, Mirfield

    Shillbank Lane, Mirfield

    Huddersfield Road, Mirfield

    Flash Lane, Mirfield

    X1 – No Seatbelt (Flash Lane)

    X2 – Registration not conforming to regulations (Flash Lane)

    X1 – Failed to display VRM (Leeds Road)

    X1 – Child no car seat (Leeds Road)

    X1 – No Seatbelt (Huddersfield Road)

    X1 – Dangerous Part (Huddersfield Road)
