Stolen Machinery Recovered

Good evening Resident,

Thanks to the vigilance of local farmers who noticed suspicious activity late last night and promptly reported it to us, officers from the Maidstone Neighbourhood Team have successfully located and recovered a suspected stolen wood chipper. The machinery had been hidden deep in woodland and away from the highway, but has now been recovered and enquiries are underway to trace its rightful owner.

This is a great example of how community awareness and reporting play a vital role in preventing and tackling rural crime. Information you share with us, no matter how small it may seem, can be the missing piece that helps us protect our communities and return stolen property to its owners.

We would like to thank those who came forward in this case, and we continue to encourage everyone to report any suspicious behaviour or incidents to the police. Together, we can make a real difference.
