WAVE & Ask for Angela Training

Camden Council is providing WAVE training (Ask for Angela) on the 2nd September. This training is taking place in Bloomsbury however it is open to all those working in hospitality, security, events or customer service in Camden. 

 

If you happen to know of venues/businesses who would be interested in having their staff attend, if you could please share the details this would be really appreciated. I’ve also asked Ailsa Nash from police licensing and Phil Eacott from the Bloomsbury SNT (previously the universities liaison) if they can share it.

  • Camden Council is inviting you to take part in our free, in-person Welfare & Vulnerability Engagement (WAVE) and Ask for Angela training, delivered by the Safer Business Network.

     

    Whether you work in hospitality, security, events or customer service in Camden, this interactive session will equip you to:

    - Recognise the signs that someone may be at risk or in need of help;

    - Understand the simple but powerful “Ask for Angela” initiative;

    - Respond quickly, discreetly and confidently when someone reaches out for support;

    - Create a safer and more inclusive environment for all.

     

    Delivered in a practical and engaging format, the training blends real-life scenarios with clear guidance that you can apply in your day-to-day role.

     

    All participants receive certification of being WAVE and Ask for Angela trained.
