Weekly update from the Smethwick Neighbourhood Policing team

Dear Residents,

 

Here’s a brief snippet of what our Smethwick Neighbourhood Team have been up to this week:

 

What’s been happening

 

 

 

 

  • Smethwick town officers have been conducting Partnership working with Sandwell Council tackling antisocial behaviour and fly tipping to name a few

    •  

  • The local Smethwick neighbourhood policing team were faced with the situation of saving life and limb and they Conducted CPR on a gentleman who was involved in an industrial accident.

    •  

  • Smethwick town PCSOs have conducted a Street watch walk in the Bearwood area which when successfully

    •  

  • The local neighbourhood team has also been Focusing on supporting and encouraging rough sleepers / drug users from the High Street to take the help that we are offering through the council and accepting help with their challenges with their addictions.

    •  

  • Officers from the Smethwick Neighbourhood team have also Apprehended a jewellery thief.

    •  

     

  • Officers and PCSO’s have continued to conduct patrols around the local area including Smethwick Thimblemill Bath’s due to on-going issues with youths causing anti-social behaviour in this location.
