HAVE YOUR SAY ON LOCAL POLICING |
||
Hi as part of your local town centre beat team we would like to hear your feedback on what you think of policing in the area. the residents voice survey takes just a couple of minutes to complete and all responses come straight to the town centre team.
Past survey replies involve the drinkers/ rough sleepers causing issues in town, we have since worked closely with partner agencies to reduce the amount of town centre street drinkers, we have removed street furniture which was used by the groups, we have worked with them to try and support them and have when needed took action against the individuals for anti social behaviour. The incidents of ASB involving these groups in town centre has reduced dramatically.
Other issues highlighted involve theft of pedal cycles, we have carried out bike marking at all our vpx events and have had extra days of marking, we also with help from Warrington BID/Safer streets funding gave out 100 D-Locks to prevent thefts unfortunately bike thefts are still occurring so we do ask people to make sure bikes are secure if in town, new cycle station at the bus interchange and Warrington cycle hub are both excellent sites.
finally lots of complaints regarding food delivery riders in town we have done lots of work with traffic and immigration to check legality of electric bikes being used and legality of people working, which is still ongoing.
Warrington town centre does benefit from Project Servator deployments which does help deter and reduce crime in the town, again working with security and Warrington CCTV team who do an amazing job for us.
PLEASE TAKE 2 MINS TO FILL IN OUR RESIDENTS VOICE SURVEY BY GOING TO CHESHIRE POLICE WEBSITE OR SCAN THE BELOW QR CODE (the survey is anonymous but please remember to put what area the problems are happening, or if you have noticed something positive please let us know, feedback of both kinds is important)
