We are seeing an increased use of electric scooters. A reminder that it is illegal to use these scooters on public land such as parks, street pavement, roads and shopping centres. If you use a privately owned e-scooter you risk the vehicle being seized under section S. 165 of the road traffic act 1988 for having no insurance.

E-scooters are classed as a vehicle as they have an engine that does not require push or pedal power.
