Local Issue with Parcel Thefts

I wanted to provide you an update regarding Personal theft (e.g. pick pocketing, no violence used), which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Over the past couple weeks, there has been numerous parcel thefts completed by individuals along IRENE ROAD and other areas in Parson Green Ward possibly using a Red Mazda vehicle. We have completed plain clothes patrols and uniform patrols around the ward and have arrested a parcel thief recently in Fulham who has been recalled to prison.

To avoid having your property stolen please attempt to make sure deliveries are not left unattended outside your address or get it shipped a secure delivery address you can pick up from. We will work to attempt to catch these people as much as possible and if any intel please email our ward mailbox and if you are a victim of crime please report online or via 101.

Hope you have a good August Bank Holiday and stay safe out there!

Sincerely PC TIMS

We are working on our brand-new strategy for how we police London and we want your help. Our New Met for London: Phase 2 strategy will guide how we deliver on behalf of Londoners over the next three years, and we want to make sure you have had the chance to have your say. The consultation paper is available online, as well as a survey to let us know what you think. This closes on the 15 September.
