Priority setting meeting update

Following the priority setting meeting – Two priority areas were clear

There are several issues affecting these areas causing a serious decline in public safety.

As such I would like to focus the neighbourhood team into these two areas. 

These being Ideal Village – Particularly, Daniels Road and Finnemore Road. Issues here are drug dealing, ASB and dumped vehicles

The second being the Coventry Road from Heybarnes Rec to Muntz Street.

Issues here being drug dealing, ASB and further issues linked to 24-hour shops.

I would like thoughts on these prior to these being set on the 1st September.

Other issues were raised during this meeting, that will be looked at.

These priorities will focus our work but does not mean we will not tackle other issues elsewhere or not police other parts of the neighbourhood.
