Colegrove Road and Surrey Canal Path

Good Morning,

I have identified all of you as living near to Colegrove Road or the Surrey Canal path. This location is on the border between Old Kent Road ward and Peckham ward. Peckham ward officially cover the canal path but as a lot of the issues there are affecting Old Kent Road residents, we have also been targeting the canal path. We are fully aware that people loiter on the canal path committing ASB and using drugs. 

In the past few months 5 people have been arrested on Colegrove Road and we have issued 7 Community Protection Warnings (CPW's) which is a warning to people committing ASB in the area. There have also been 4 arrests on the canal path.

We are aware of a particular female who is quite aggressive and is verbally abusive to anyone who passes her. We have recently issued her with a CPW to deter her from the area.

We are working with the council to identify ways to prevent people from loitering on the canal path, please feel free to pass any information to us which may assist us in reducing this ASB.
