Crime trends this week **Burglary & Theft from Vehicle reported **

An update on Local crime in Hanger Hill - There has been 1 report of a Residential Burglary, 1 reports of Theft from Motor Vehicle and 0 reports of Theft of a Motor Vehicle this week on our Ward. Whilst any reported crime is a concern, based on last years figures, these acquisitive and opportunistic offences have shown a decline. This is down to residents taking appropriate measures to secure their possessions and a higher visibility Police presence. I thank you for your efforts as residents in supporting us driving down crime.

Please remember to secure your doors and windows when going out, take measures such as security lighting and CCTV to deter opportunistic Burglars. The 1 reported Burglary happened in the early hours in the Brunswick Road area. Please be vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour on 999. We will attend all calls of suspicious activity in the small hours. The Theft from vehicle occurred in the Hillcrest Road area. Please remember to secure your vehicle and ideally park in areas with street lighting.

We are continuing to work on our Ward Priorities reducing Theft and Robbery offences in the Hanger Hill Garden Estate, Violence and Anti-Social Behaviour offences in vicinity of Hanger Lane Gyratory and our local Parks. I am pleased to announce there have been no reported Theft or Robbery offences in the Hanger Hill Garden estate and no reported incidents of anti-social behaviour in our parks and the Gyratory system.

We will be out on Patrol today around Hanger Hill, if you spot us come and say hi ðŸ‘‹

Many thanks,
Hanger Hill Safer Neighbourhoods Team
