Our newest appeal for KNARESBOROUGH

Important Message – Please do not ignore

Police are investigating a burglary in your area that occurred on 15.08.2025 overnight on a street nearby Park Lane.

We believe that the area was targeted by a group of young males wearing face coverings and dark clothing. They entered back gardens and attempted to burglar a shed and possibly other outbuildings in the area.

Do you have any information which would assist North Yorkshire Police in finding those responsible and help keep your community safe?

Did you or anyone who you live with, hear or see anything around the above time and date?

Do you have any CCTV coverage capturing the burglary, or anything happening on the street before or after?

Do you have a vehicle with a dash-cam parked in the area?

Security Advice

Ensure that all doors are locked overnight, and windows are locked or on a latch.

Remove any valuables from sight and it is advisable to keep house/cars key, wallets/purses, phones/laptops/tablets in the room where you sleep.

Consider fitting a security light to the side of your property.
