Drug Dealing Red Honda Moped

I wanted to provide an update regarding drug dealing / drug use, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey.

Hi,

Some of you will no doubt be aware of a Red Honda Moped, which was heavily involved in drug dealing around the areas of Eton Road and Provost Road, NW3. It was also popping up outside these areas too and recently there was a break, which leads to the identity of the rider. Attention has been mounted on him when out and about and eventually, there was cause to arrest him on Mutton Place, NW1, where he was part of a larger group hanging around.

When back at the station, he was found to have secreted a lock-knife on his person and 50 rocks of Class A drugs. A search of his home address uncovered more evidence of drugs. He was charged with drug supply offences and remanded to court, whereby he was remanded in prison until late November.

The moped and another, which was also stolen have been recovered by the team on Mutton Place and are off the road. This will undoubtedly impact them, but someone will step up, so please be vigilant, note or photograph vehicles/individuals and pass on to us or contact 999/101 if a crime is being committed.

Regards,

Paul
