Op Guardian Public Forum - Feedback

Good afternoon Resident

I hope you are well! This is primarily a thank you e-mail to those who attended the Public Forum at St Albans Council Chambers this afternoon from 1pm until 3pm. The in-person feedback was very valuable and we are so glad to know that this event was welcomed by residents, given the concerns surrounding Vehicle Crime and Residential Burglaries. 

To Councillors who attended, thank you for voicing community concerns on behalf of your residents - I hope the Crime Prevention advice and information was useful to you. 

Please note that if you left a comment regarding the scheduling of the event, I have read through all of this feedback and appreciate it greatly. This was the first event of its kind and was bound to come with teething issues, so to those who gave feedback, comments, or suggestions, thank you! This will guide us when planning similar events in the future. My main takeaways from residents were that the venue was not ideal for some residents due to limited / expensive parking; the time of day wasn't ideal due to work commitments; and the day of the week wasn't ideal due to family and work commitments. We have taken these comments on board. I want to reassure residents that if we are approached to ask for a talk, presentation, visit, or similar activity, this request will be reviewed and organised by your local officer, so please do reach out and ask us if you would benefit from these talks closer to home. 

And as usual, we are asking for your feedback by means of the following survey. I have linked in a simply survey as it was raised to us in the meeting that the Priority Survey can be quite Yes/No and not allow for elaboration. The Priority Survey is important so we know what general issues you want us to tackle and many of these Herts Connected e-mails will contain invitations to complete the Priority Survey.
