Report from recent Road crime operation on Lightwood Road.

Hi All, 

Recently we have had the road crime policing team come to Lightwood Road around the start of August to do an operation from recent issues in the area of vehicles speeding and driving dangerously or anti- socially. 

During the operation the Road Crime team made:

1 arrest 

29 TOR – meaning that 29 vehicles were stopped for traffic offences e.g. speeding, on their phones, not wearing seatbelts. 

36 Stops – meaning 36 vehicles during the course of the operation were stopped by the road crime policing team. 

8 Seizures – Police during there operation on Lightwood Road seized 8 vehicles. 

6 PG9s – Police during the operation found 6 vehicles HGV’s to be unfit or not up to standard for the road. 

They done 8 breath tests on drivers for concerns and 7 breath tests were negative. 1 was positive and was dealt with accordingly.
