APPEAL | Serious injury road traffic collision, Cury Cross Lanes

We are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage following a single vehicle road traffic collision on the A3083 near Cury Cross Lanes in Cornwall.

Officers were called at around 7.30pm on Tuesday 19 August following a report of the collision involving a blue VW golf.

A driver fled the scene before being detained. The passenger in the vehicle was taken to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries.

The road was closed while an investigation was carried out at the scene.

A man in his 20s from Chesham was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through drink, driving whilst disqualified and causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He has been released on bail.
