BIRSTALL & WANLIP ROUND-UP

Hello everybody!

It's been another fair few weeks since the last Round Up, mostly owing to abstractions from the Beat due to unforeseen operational circumstances (a grey term for when wider situations require staff being monopolised for prioritised incidents - I am sure the majority of you will understand).

Nonetheless, where available, PCSO Jon and new Beat PC Dave have managed “the odd day” on the Beat, trying to maintain a grasp on our local priorities whilst undertaking investigations and enquiries related to

 other concerns reported and raised.

PCSO Jon has made visits to the Methodist Church (including new outfitted kitchen) and Birstall Library in addition to carrying out patrols around key ASB hotspots, not limited to but including the North Services (where we have seen an slight spike in more youth-related concerns).

PC Dave has predominantly been working alongside external agencies managing an evolving situation on the Hallam Fields Estate whilst grabbing opportunities where available to introduce himself to key workers in the communities.

Hopefully in the coming weeks, all good things will level out and I will be able to send another Round Up of a more substantial nature but please be assured that Birstall and Wanlip is always first and foremost on our minds and we will continue to manage expectations.
