WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Just by way of a quick introduction, my name is Neil Cheyne, I am the community Policing Sergeant for Grangemouth & Skinflats. We will be getting some more info out soon about who your local community team are and how you can contact us.

Me and the rest of the community team will using Neighbourhood Watch Alerts much more in future. Like some of you, we are new to this, so bare with us whilst we adapt. 

Unlike social media, we can really personalise our messaging for our community through this Alert system. Using Facebook/X is great for some things but do you really need to know about issues in Stirling or Alloa? Probably not. Through social media, we are restricted about what we can post to avoid the feeds becoming too busy however, using NHW Alerts, we can update you on a lot more, be that crimes that have happened, appeals for information, safety advice or ongoing issues. 

This will only be effective however if we can increase the number of people who are signed up to receive the alerts. Right now, our numbers are not where I want them, the population of Grangemouth is over 16000 people, and we only have 134 people signed up. Lets see us get into the thousands to ensure we are doing our best to keep you all informed.
