Crime Report Hucknall for the week to midnight Wednesday 20 August 2025

Your local Safer Neighbourhood Team will be within the Hucknall Town Center conducting a bike marking event so please bring your bikes down, have with you the frame number, there will be other items that we will be giving away for free.

Crimes reported over the past seven days.

Burglary Dwelling

At 10.34am on Thursday 14 August at Yummy Tummies, High Street, Hucknall, a group of five or six males, 14/17 years old, attempted to climb through a top window while the owner was telling them to go away. They also attempted to break through the shutter to the shop before leaving in the direction of Tesco. All described as thin, one wearing white shorts and white t-shirt. One in black shorts and a white top. One in grey Nike tracksuit bottoms and grey sweat shirt. One in a black shirt and grey Nike shorts. One was riding a black electric scooter. 

Between 10.00pm on Saturday 16 and 5.00am on Sunday 17 August in Lime Tree Road, Hucknall a flat was broken into via a bathroom window an untidy search was made and the flat exited via the living room. Cash, jewellery, trainers, two iPhones, a laptop and notepad were stolen.

Burglary Other

At some time before 10.52am on Monday 18 August in Chatsworth Drive, Hucknall, an attempt had been made to break into a storage shed in the communal area of a block of flats. The lock was damaged but still in place.

Theft of motor vehicle

Between 12.00 noon on Wednesday 13 and 3.30pm on Monday 18 August at Herbert Buzzard Court, Hankin Street, Hucknall a Honda 125 Monkey bike, red frame and white tank, secured with two locks and under a cover in the recycling area behind locked gates, was stolen. It has since been found.

Between 9.35pm and 9.50pm on Monday 18 August in Ashgate Road, Hucknall, a black Toyota Yaris was stolen from the Tesco Extra car park. The owner lost the keys which it is thought were found and used to take the car.

A report at 11.04pm on Wednesday 20 August in Kestrel Grove, Hucknall, a black and white Honda Monkey bike was stolen from the car park next to the callers house by two males, both slim built, average height, wearing black outfits and balaclavas, possibly teenagers. The caller challenged them, but they pushed the bike away. It was found abandoned nearby

Theft

At 10.30amonThursday 14 August in Montague Road, Hucknall, a parcel containing headphones and a Spiderman bed set was stolen by a white male, around 5-11”, slim, wearing a cap and a vest with yellow on it.

Criminal Damage

At some time before 5.15am on Saturday 16 August in Laughton Crescent, Hucknall, windows and a ring door bell were damaged.

Between 8.00am and 1.30pm on Saturday 16 August in Queen Street, Hucknall, the windscreen of a white Seat Leon car, parked at the roadside, was cracked.

At 8.45am on Tuesday 19 August in St. Marys Way, Hucknall, a report of a male throwing a rock at the window of a second floor flat and returning a few minutes later throwing a second rock. Described as white, 5-10”, age 30’s, black beard, wearing a black tracksuit with the hood up.

ASB

At 6.36pm on Friday 15 August in Carlingford Road, Hucknall, a report of two children aged 10/12 years old, throwing eggs at cars and houses.

At 6.05pm on Sunday 17 August at Beauvale Court, Abbots Road, Hucknall, three young lads entered the building, through an insecure external door, lifted a fire extinguisher and let it off. No permanent damage was done. One was described as mixed race, 14 years old, wearing a tracksuit top in three shades of blue. The second one was 12/14 years old, small, wearing a grey and white tracksuit top. The third who said his Gran lived there was medium height, dark hair with a fringe, wearing black clothing. 

At 8.47pm on Sunday 17 August in Meteor Road, Hucknall, a report of a quad bike and two electric bikes being raced around on the old airfield. 

At 6.31pm on Sunday 17 August in Titchfield Park, Park Drive, Hucknall, a report of around 10 e-bikes being ridden around by youths wearing balaclavas. The caller said their actions were very intimidating to members of the public and was concerned that a child could be hit and injured. 

At 11.09pm on Sunday 17 August in Holgate Walk, Abbots Drive, Hucknall, a flat was ‘egged’. Two teenage males were seen running away. Both white, 14/16 years old, one in all black clothing. The second had blond hair and was wearing grey clothing.
