On Tuesday 12 August 2025, officers across the Oldham district co-ordinated a range of activity which consisted of, a multi-agency operation aimed at targeting nominals involved in Organised Immigration Crime without the right to work.

Three e-bikes were seized for no insurance, and one arrest was made. 

Inspector Katherine Murray said: “Activity we are undertaking as part of Safe4Summer will ensure we are acting on feedback from our communities, ensuring Oldham is a safe place to live, work and socialise in.”
