Attempt Burglary and Theft

Good Morning,

Important Message – Please do not ignore

 

Police are investigating an attempt burglary/Theft in your area that occurred sometime between 08:00hrs on 16th August 2025 and 14:00hrs 19th August 2025 at a property on Hilton Square, Brompton, Northallerton.

 

An unknown person/s has kicked the front door and taken the door handle and Ring Door Bell. No Entry was gained into the property.

 

Do you have any information which would assist North Yorkshire Police in finding those responsible and help keep your community safe? 

 

  • Did you or anyone who you live with, hear or see anything around the above time and date? 
  • Do you have any CCTV/Ring Door Bell coverage capturing the burglary, or anything happening on the street before or after? 
  • Do you have a vehicle with a dash-cam parked in the area?

  • Ensure that all doors are locked overnight, and windows are locked or on a latch.
  • Remove any valuables from sight and it is advisable to keep house/cars key, wallets/purses, phones/laptops/tablets in the room where you sleep.
