Bike Marking is a proven method to prevent the theft of bicycles. Not only does it tend to deter thieves, but should the bike be stolen, it can be marked as such on the database giving it a greater chance of returning said stolen bike to the rightful owner if recovered. We have decided to use Bike Register to mark and register bikes within West Yorkshire and whilst there are other marking companies we believe that the use of this particular platform assists both the Police and Public. It is a Secured by Design accredited product and therefore a Police Preferred specification.
