Another busy week on our neighbourhood ….

Officers have again been busy with assisting response officers with the various incoming demand on most days but have been on the neighbourhood when time allows

We have a new officer on the team PC Bryan on a short term student rotation 

Stechford & Yardley North Neighbourhood officers did manage to attend Stechford Retail Park and give out crime prevention advice and you will find a photo on X Just follow Stechford & North Yardley Police to view 

Patrols continue at the Yew Tree for motorists parking on the Zig Zags and those caught will receive their ticket, points and fine, Remember you can also report these vehicles by using www.nextbase.co.uk/national-dash-cam-safety-portal & Operation Snap

Vehicles have been seized for no tax and we have notified DVLA that there are numerous vehicles on our neighbourhood and could they assist and have noticed clamps on numerous vehicles on our neighbourhood 

Our Street Watch volunteers go from strength to strength and continue to be a high visibility presence in the community and a credit to Stechford & Yardley North Neighbourhood Team and West Midlands Police, We are still looking for more volunteers and if interested please contact me on the following…..kenneth.walters@west-midlands.police.uk 

CRIME UPDATE

THEFT FROM MOTOR VEHICLE 

On 16/08/25 between 21.00 hrs & 12.30 hrs on 17/08/25 Offenders have gained access to an Audi on CHURCH ROAD by smashing drivers window & stolen backpack containing lap top and mobile phone ( left on show )

On 18/08/25 between 02.18 hrs & 02.19 hrs Offenders have gained access to a Ford Kuga on PLOWDEN ROAD by smashing side window and stolen 30.00 in pound coins ( left on show )

On 19/08/25 between 05.50 hrs & 14.00 hrs Offenders have stolen both front & rear registration plates from a Nissan Micra on STATION ROAD

On 17/08/25 between 00.30 hrs & 11.00 hrs Offenders have gained access to a Toyota Yaris on ROSEMARY ROAD by smashing drivers side window and stolen Armani bag containing 120.00 in cash, bank cards,driving license and watch valued at 195.00 

THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE 

On 08/08/25 between 08.00 hrs & 01.45 hrs of 12/08/25 Offenders have stolen a BMW on ROCKLAND DRIVE 

On 15/08/25 between 16.30 hrs & 07.30 on 16/08/25 hrs Offenders have stolen a Toyota on LYNDON ROAD ( Keys had been left in ignition )

On 17/08/25 between 08.00 hrs & 23.05 hrs Offenders have stolen a Hyundai Ioniq on CROFT ROAD ( Key Less Vehicle )

ATTEMPT THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE

On 12/08/25 between 02.45 hrs & 02.55 hrs Offenders have attempted to steal a Honda Civic on QUEENS ROAD using an angle grinder & relay device but disturbed by occupant
