🚓 #Safe4Summer | Targeted Traffic Operation in Rochdale

Today, officers from GMP’s Rochdale district and Road Policing Unit, working in partnership with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) and Wolverhampton Taxi Licensing, carried out a routine traffic operation in response to community concerns around speeding and anti-social behaviour.

As part of the operation, 56 traffic offence reports were issued for a variety of offences including:

These proactive checks are essential to ensure vehicles on our roads are safe, roadworthy, and not being used to facilitate crime or anti-social behaviour — helping to keep our communities safe.
