PCC funds Mature Driver Awareness Sessions using Virtual Reality in West Mercia!

DPCC Marc Bayliss went along to a session in Kidderminster, funded by PCC John Campion, which uses Virtual Reality to support motorists aged 65+ to stay safe on our roads! 

Delivered by West Mercia Roads Policing, alongside local partners, a series of Mature Driver Awareness Sessions have taken place across West Mercia.

Hugely popular with every session sold out, they give mature drivers an opportunity to experience VR whilst brushing up on their Highway Code knowledge, as well as highlighting areas that become challenging as we age.
