Bogus callers

There has been some suspicious males in a white van visiting addresses in the Southwell area asking if they need work doing. They appear to be targeting the elderly, quoting for work on roofs and then finding additional work that needs completing before charging a huge amount.

Please remain vigilant with your neighbours and report any suspicious activity to 101.

We would advise not to buy anything at the door and to seek out reputable trades persons
