MAN ARRESTED FOR DRUNK & DISORDERLY

On 16th August at around 09:20 we were called to Castle Grounds following a report of an intoxicated male shouting obscenities and making threats towards runners and stewards participating in Park Run.

Officers attended and located the male who continued to present as being intoxicated and being loud.

The 23 year old male, from Alvecote, was arrested for being drunk and disorderly. He was further arrested for assaulting an emergency worker.

He has since been released on bail.
