Dulwich Wood Update

Dear Dulwich Wood residents, 

It has been a very busy few weeks for Dulwich Wood Safer-Neighbourhood team. 

As you may have seen on the news, this summer has been extremely busy for the Metropolitan Police Service, with significant protests for Palestine Action and protests in Canary Wharf at the Britannia Hotel. PCSO's Mustafa and Johnson have been conducting proactive patrols of Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) Hotspots where reports of ASB have been made to Police or the Council by local residents. We will continue these patrols to deter Anti Social Behaviour within our ward, given the seasonal increase of reported ASB during the summer months.

On Friday 15th August, PC Wake, PCSO Johnson and PCSO Mustafa were patrolling the ward when PCSO Mustafa has spotted a male known to be wanted for a serious offence. PC Wake, with assistance from PCSO Johnson and PCSO Mustafa swiftly apprehended and arrested the male for failing to appear at Court and he has been remanded in custody.
