Town Centre Safe4Summer joint Operation with Trading standards - Rochdale

This week, our #OperationTetbury neighbourhood officers Marco and Jess along with student officer Rachel were out and about as part of our Town Centre Clear Hold Build project targeting cash rich premises across Drake street in Rochdale. We were joined by our colleagues from Trading Standards. 

The Neighbourhood team then moved onto businesses in Heywood and Middleton to support our Town Centre #Safe4Summer initiative.

Results:

- 83 packs of illicit cigarettes seized

-30 packs of hand rolling tobacco seized

-37 vapes seized

Numerous stop searches of people and vehicles, an arrest and an individual who causes us repeat issues was given a Community Protection warning (CPW)
